BlackBox Finance perpetual trading lottery launched a yesterday, twice!

Firstly, we’d like to thank our amazing community and contributors, as well as a couple of passionate groups that promoted our token sale. We would be nowhere without them.

After conducting a successful token sale, a total of 416 BNB were raised for the BlackBox Finance project. Further details:

416 BNB raised
208K tokens distributed
379K BBOX burned
160 BNB & 83K BBOX liquidity added to PancakSwap
Liquidity, 100K Team & 200K Marketing tokens locked with Wealth Locks

What happened yesterday?

after the BBOX was launched and trading had commenced, bots also started to trade BBOX token in order to game the system with ~0 value transactions
this was part of the initial design, but some members of the community felt that it was unfair to compete against bots for lottery entries
we had the option of banning bot addresses as they were reported
instead we decided redeployed a new contract so only 100 BBOX purchases entered the lottery, and added features to curb bot entries
after this new contract was redeployed, many panicked and sold their old BBOX v1, and also sold their new BBOX v2 tokens, causing a cascade effect of sells and dropping the price below the token sale price

Total tokens: 621,000
PancakeSwap: 45,000 BBOX & 90 BNB (LP locked with Wealth Locks)
100K Team & 200K Marketing tokens locked up on 10 month timed release
267K BBOX v2 airdropped to BBOX v1 holders at time of snapshot taken at 5:15 PM EST, March 9th

What is the current state?

as of now, we have two active BBOX tokens, with 2 locked liquidity pools
we will rebrand the new token, BBOX v2, once the liquidity pool unlocks and re-issue a new contract with a new liquidity pool
we will continue to market the project and build on what we have to provide more value to both holders and traders until then
we have changed the new BBOX v2 jackpot limit to 1000 BBOX
BBOX v1 is still trading with locked liquidity and a fully functional lottery, just without any minimum buy to enter the lottery pool

What is the plan?

Changes to the website are in progress
Marketing push will commence when website is renewed and sentiment has settled down
dApp development will continue in order to offer a front-end to track lottery progress, metrics, NFT claims, etc.
Continued completion of roadmap items

What’s developments are coming?

BBOX v2 staking to farm NFTs (within 1 week)
Updated BlackBox website (within 1 week)
dApp (within 4 weeks)
Revised lottery system (10 weeks)

Our goal is to give people more reasons to buy BBOX v2. That is what we are working towards and we are fully confident that the project will recover from the initial struggles. We are still 33% of our presale price at the moment, a great discount for a project that has a LOT of potential.
